It's such a chore to seek out the truth,

Could the job not have been easier?

Must I bend, break my head, pull at that hangnail

To find out the answer,

Could it not have been written on the wall

Or hardwired in this head like so many of my faults?

Only now I have to survive this easy life

Feed my low key desires, then take them out for a walk.
