Humpty Dumpty wanted to fly

For Humpty Dumpty it was either do or die.

All the king's horses and all the king's men

Laughed and made fun of poor humpty when,

He asked his father to make for him, wings:

An artisan who worked with wax in sculpturing.

Gawked with mouth open when they saw Humpty again.

Humpty Dumpty now had a pair of wide wings.

Though Humpty Dumpty was warned what greed could bring,

Amidst all the king's horses' and loud men's cheers

If Humpty were to fly too high, without fear.

Humpty Dumpty in honesty was a fool in love.

Humpty Dumpty flew to touch the golden star above.

All the king's horses and all the king's men sighed

When Humpty Dumpty with wings burnt, fell from the sky.
