An honest goodbye. 20181002.

The indifferent sky in its pink halo,

Bids the dying sun fare thee well.

The determined hunter, before his open bow

Speaks death to a poor soul, whispers fare thee well.

It's not too much to ask, an honest goodbye.

A quicker death saves a life some long awful years.

As a bumble bee would for a dying flower,

As a mantis does for his lover.

As autumn does for her withering leaves,

What nature teaches, why can't we, follow?

.........................................................................................

It is convenient to ghost people,

but it is best if we do it after an explanation,

an honest goodbye.
